The "Association Luxembourgeoise des Amis des Chemins de Fer" (Luxembourgish Association of the Friends of the Railways ALACF a.s.b.l.) was founded in 1973. The ALACF proposes to initiate and promote its members in the knowledge of the railways. The association is interested actively in the transport policy in Luxembourg and takes care of the representation of the interests of the rail users.
It seeks to reach this goal by visiting railway installations, by organizing trips on bordering railway networks, by setting up a library, by organizing conferences, slide and film shows as
